Independence

This being July, I've been thinking a lot about indepedence. Two hundred thirty-one years ago, the colonies said 'Good-Bye' to England. Since then, America has developed a character all its own but our roots are found in our shared culture. We separated but, in a significant way, we remain connected. And, while we celebrate all the traditions of all the ethnicities that make up our country, its nice to recall our beginning.
